Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii

A United States National Park was established in 1916 and it was named “Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park”.  This park is located Volcanoes Park Rentals in Hawaii, the 50th State, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The National Park is composed of two active volcanoes: Mauna Loa, the world’s most massive shield volcano and Kīlauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes.  Scientists, by visiting these two volcanoes,  receive insight into the processes of volcanism and the birth of the Hawaiian Islands. The National Park offers dramatic volcanic landscapes as well as the opportunity to hike jungle trails and see rare flora and fauna.

What Others Say About Their Stay

“When I booked my room at Rick and Katy Joy’s, I was simply looking for a place close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. But then I got so much more! Their Celestial Sanctum is truly a haven of peace. The rooms are spacious, full of light and super clean. Katy Joy invited me to join her morning Qi Gong on their beautiful Deck of Expansion, and the exercises both calmed me down and gave me a lot of energy for my day. When I returned from my evening hike in the NP, the night sky was beautiful! I really hope I’ll come back to their place at the end of my trip. Mahalo for everything!”

“Just WOW! We were lucky to stay for a couple of nights at this magical place. Don’t look at pictures (at least for now), they are not comparable to what you will get in reality. The house is huge and beautiful, the location is very convenient for both adventurous (Volcanoes National Park) and relaxed types of stays. And the hosts are so warm and just interesting people to talk to. Oh, and you will get delicious and healthy breakfast every morning!”  Highly recommended!

“The place is somewhat remote which was strange at first but awesome in no time. The room was better than in a hotel, the bathroom awesome. Everything done with very good taste. It felt like home. Rick and Katy Joy will be very concerned about you having a good time, they will ask you how you like things to be done for you and you will have so many awesome conversations since they are very wise and experienced. The place is in the middle of everything, the volcanoes, the best beaches. You will have fun, you will not be disappointed at all about anything, basically, you hit the lottery.”

“I did not stay here, my parents did. They were in awe of the establishment and said it was a beautiful house with nice owners. I was informed by them that it is SLIGHTLY secluded, but just about everywhere not in Kona or Hilo is secluded on Big Island. Rick and Katy were said to be very polite and conversational. I hope my parents were not too much for them.”

“Rick and Katy Joy are very warm and welcoming and made us feel like home! They did everything in their power to make our stay as comfortable as possible and always responded quickly to requests. The room and private bathroom were very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was better than in any of the restaurants! If we’re ever back on the Big Island we would definitely stay here again!!”

“I had a very pleasant stay at Rick and Katy’s place. The standard of the room is very good and the whole house is very pleasant. Rick and Katy were very helpful and very nice people. I enjoyed our discussions very much. The house is located just 15 minutes away from the Volcano national park where one can see glowing lava! An unforgettable experience! Around 30 minutes from Hilo from where one can visit many amazing waterfalls. The zoo (which is free) is just 20 minutes away. A guaranteed entertainment! Overall, I had a wonderful stay and memories for life! I highly recommend their place for an unforgettable vacation on Hawaii. Aloha!”
